Rotherwood: Specialist Recruitment Divisions & Sectors

From Humble Beginnings to Specialist Recruiters

Dennis Pagdin founded Rotherwood in 1976 after requiring staff for his construction business. When other local businesses began requesting his staffing expertise, Rotherwood was born. Today, his daughter Jo owns and manages the company, maintaining the family values that built our 50-year reputation.

Our 14-member team operates from two offices, providing sector specialist recruitment services exclusively to local businesses rather than competing as a large nationwide agency.

Over the last 50 years we have become experts in our specialist fields. Our consultants are highly knowledgeable and understand the challenges of the sectors you work in, delivering a supportive service based on trust and honesty. We also pride ourselves on our personal touch, meeting all candidates in person and regularly visiting clients to build strong, lasting relationships.

This specialist knowledge enables our consultants to provide more than just recruitment solutions. They offer a high level of support, market insight, and a genuinely consultative service, helping both clients and candidates make informed decisions. By combining industry expertise with a personalised approach, we build long-term partnerships and deliver recruitment solutions tailored to the unique needs of each sector.
