About the Opportunity

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider seeking an experienced Care Home Manager to lead a successful nursing care home in Greater Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and compassionate leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care while driving operational excellence. You'll be responsible for the overall performance of the home, ensuring exceptional standards of care, regulatory compliance, commercial success, and an outstanding experience for residents and their families.

Working alongside an experienced senior leadership team, you'll receive ongoing operational support while leading a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality care.

The Role

As the Registered Care Home Manager, you will:

  • Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team, creating a positive and supportive culture.
  • Ensure the home consistently delivers safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement with a focus on achieving excellent inspection outcomes.
  • Manage the home's financial performance, budgets and occupancy levels.
  • Develop relationships with residents, families, professionals and the local community.
  • Support business development and marketing initiatives to maintain strong occupancy.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, compassion, respect and excellence throughout the service.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience managing a nursing and/or residential care home.
  • Current or previous CQC Registered Manager experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance and compliance.
  • A proven track record of achieving positive inspection outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and occupancy.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.

Desirable

  • NMC Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with post-registration experience.
